Upward Basketball

The Upward Basketball program at Edgewood Baptist Church is for boys and girls in grades K5 through 6th grade. The goal of our league is to teach the children the basics of the sport of basketball and to teach them the basics of the Christian faith.

Our league is designed so that each player has an equal opportunity to succeed and learn the skills it takes to play the game of basketball. Our practices consist of court time and a short time with the coaches teaching a Biblical principle to the players.

Practices are on Monday evenings and games are on Saturday mornings. For questions or information, please call the league director, Benjy Lamb, at 706-575-5399.

January 7, 2012 – 1st Practice

January 21, 2012 – 1st Game
March 10, 2012 – Last Game

March 12, 2012 – End of Season Celebration, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
